Dance class placement policy

Logos Dance Theatre wants every dance student to excel in dance. Students should be challenged without feeling overwhelmed. Students taking a level they are not ready for can hinder growth in dance, cause injury, and diminish motivation and confidence. Dance class placement decisions are made by the Studio Director

Missing Classes

If you will be out of town or your dancer is ill please call the studio to let the instructor know. Fees are not prorated or refunded. You may talk to your instructor about attending a makeup class. All make up classes must be done during the summer session.

Dance Attire and Shoes

Ballet Classes:

• Beginning Ballet - pink leotard, pink tights, hair in a bun, pink ballet slippers
• Beg. Ballet - pink leotard, pink tights, hair in a bun, pink ballet slippers
• Ballet I & II - black leotard, pink tights, hair in a bun, pink ballet slippers
• Ballet III & IV - black leotard, pink tights, hair in a bun, pink ballet slippers; once a week students may wear a solid colored leotard and black tights.

Combination Classes:

• Ballet/Tap - pink or black leotard, pink tights, hair in a bun, pink ballet slippers and black tap shoes
• Jazz/Tap - pink or black leotard, pink or tan tights, hair in a bun or ponytail, black jazz shoes and black tap shoes

Jazz & Modern Classes:

• Jazz I-IV - Solid color leotard, black or tan tights, black dance pants may be worn
• black jazz shoes (no jazz sneakers), barefoot for modern

Tap Classes:

• Solid color leotard, capri's, shorts, or dance skirts may be worn (no long pants)
• Shoes: black jazz tap shoes

Hair must be pulled back into a ponytail or bun.
Please do not wear gaucho pants (it is hard to see the line of the body with these pants).
NO jewelry.
NO gum.
NO jeans.
