Mission Statement

CYT is dedicated to developing character in children and adults through training in the arts and by producing wholesome family entertainment, all of which reflect Judeo-Christian values.


Values and Objectives

Developing character traits and abilities including commitment, discipline, self-esteem, confidence, and integrity
Supporting the family unit through the direct involvement of each family members talents, interests and abilities.
Providing a quality product without compromising a wholesome environment
Placing the maximum worth on people and treating each individual with respect and significance.
Being a Godly role model promoting the awareness of a higher accountability.

Goals of CYT

To train children in the performing arts.
To help build students self-esteem
To build leadership skills within the students of CYT.
To continually develop a sense of community and fellowship.
To provide positive role models for our students.

CYT Code of Conduct

All CYT faculty and staff are required to follow the CYT Code of Conduct .  The code is provided to all who work with others in our program and is included within each individual's contract.  If a parent, student, staff member or contractor has concerns at any time, please contact CYT Executive Director Becky Talken at 816.678.4405 and/or CYT Board President Lael Holloway at 913.481.8269.
