Musical Productions
Students enrolled in class may audition for any of the three productions in the current term.
Auditions are a wonderful way for students to gain self-confidence and experience in
performing in front of people. CYT encourages every student ages 8-18 to participate
in auditions. Unfortunately, we are unable to cast all who audition, but we believe
it is an experience, which the students will not want to miss.
We also feel that the training we offer is important, and that with training comes the
confidence and skills necessary to have good auditions in the future and for growth in the
performing arts.
Students not cast in the show are encouraged to participate in other aspects of a production such as the backstage crew (ages 14 -18), as ushers (ages 8 and up), and in other behind the scenes roles.
