Theater Classes
Enrollment Information
To enroll in class create a MYCYT account to register on-line
or download the application form and mail it or drop off at the CYT office at 6800 W. 153rd Street Overland Park, KS 66223.
Age Requirements
Students must meet age requirements by the last day of the session.
End of Semester Showcase
On the last day of the session each class will perform in a Showcase.
Class Confirmation
Class confirmation emails will be sent prior to the first class night. You may download class
enrollment forms and audition forms.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
We reserve the right to cancel any course with fewer than three students enrolled. Should we
cancel a course due to low enrollment, you will receive 48 hours notice to choose another class
or receive a full refund.
If you withdraw your child from a course prior to the first day of class, your tuition will be refunded
less a $15 processing fee. No refunds or pro-rates will be given after the first class or to a student
who auditions for a show.

Scholarships
CYT offers scholarships for tuition assistance for families with various levels of income. Eligibility will
be determined through a financial formula based on income and number of children in your household.
Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis and must be requested at least one week
prior to registration. Please call 913-681-3318 to request a scholarship application.
Special Needs Program- H.E.A.R.T. (Helping to Encourage Awareness and Recognition in Theatre)
HEART is designed for students with special needs. If your child has special needs and would like to be
involved in our theater program please contact Program Director Josie Strickler at strickler.josie@gmail.com
Scholarships are available.
Auditioning for the musical production
Students ages 8 and over, and enrolled in classes, are eligible to audition for any of the productions for
