Christian Youth Theater in Kansas City

CYT provides "quality educational theater for children by children" and includes casts of 50-85 children ages 8-18.  Each production is a high quality Broadway-style musical lasting approximately 90-120 minutes.

Benefits of booking a CYT performance as a field trip include:
  • A special ticket price of $5 per student with FREE admission for teachers and assistants with a group of 15 or more.
  • A study guide relevant to the content of the production to incorporate into your lesson plans prior to or following the show (available on request). Sample Study Guide
  • A docent visit to your classroom or school by members of the production to discuss theater etiquette and information about the show (available upon scheduling an appointment through the CYT box office).
