Class Description

Did you ever wonder how the actors and actresses you see made their dreams become reality?  Come explore the whole wide world of acting and how you can make acting and theatre a part of your life- for life!  Together we will talk about how to prepare to take on theatre in the "real world" and how to make your characters come alive!  Along the way you will make new discoveries in theatre and be better prepared to take on your next role!

Kayla Sandusky

Kayla is currently a student at the University of Kansas studying Theatre and Special Education. Kayla plans on furthering her education at K-State to pursue a Drama Therapy Degree. Kayla has been teaching youth theatre for over four years and believes it is an excellent escape and friendship maker for people of all ages! When she isn't teaching theatre she can be found at the pool teaching swim lessons. In her free time, Kayla likes to paint and garden. Ask her about her lemon trees! Kayla is so excited to teach at CYT!
