Class Description

The ingenue, the dashing protagonist, the comedic sidekick—there are so many different kinds of roles to play! In this class, we will dig into what it takes to portray any character with authenticity. We will study a number of different shows and look into character motive, background, historical and geographical context, and more! Take your acting from good to a-MA-zing by going past the surface and really getting to know the characters you play. We will take it one step further by learning how to incorporate these complex characters into song!
