Teen Assistants are a vital part of our summer camp team! They make a huge impact on campers' weeks and receive community service hours or CYT credit that can be used for classes and camp tuition. Application Process
Here's how to apply to be a 2020 CYT Summer Camp Teen Assistant:
Complete the online teen assistant application form. Make sure you completely and thoughtfully fill out all parts of the application and that both you and your parent sit down together to sign the student/parent commitment portion. At the end of the application, you will be able to schedule your interview date and time; make sure to mark this date on your calendar.
Obtain a letter of reference written and signed by an adult UNRELATED to you; this reference should explain how he or she knows you and why he or she believes you would be a good Summer Camp Teen Assistant. This letter can be uploaded into the application form or emailed by the writer or student to campcoordinator@cytkc.org. It should be received prior to your interview date.
Make sure you have completed the medical release form. If you have already filled this form out for the entirety of the 2019-2020 season, you do not need to complete it again. Please reach out to campcoordinator@cytkc.org if you are unsure if we have your form on file.
Be prepared for your video/phone call at the interview time you chose. We can't wait to talk with you!
